Why play it

The Plantation Course makes Maui’s scale playable. Wide fairways are not generosity alone—they give golfers room to use slopes that can move a ball tens of yards across the ground.

Coore and Crenshaw routed across former plantation land, using extreme elevation and prevailing wind to create large strategic canvases rather than narrow corridors.
